About Us

Our respected manufacturing company has successfully evolved over the past 40 years under the careful family guidance of Al and Chuck Hendee. Al, the family patriarch, started an equipment brokerage firm in 1965. Four years later he hired his son Chuck to assist with accounting functions.

These two businessmen soon saw greater opportunities in manufacturing industrial products, and in 1971 they shifted the focus of the company in that direction. This awareness of market needs and trends led the industrial manufacturing entrepreneurs into the energy conservation boom of the late 70’s.

Hendee Enterprises soon recognized other market needs and began manufacturing fabric covered shade structures. As new product line evolved, so did the Fortune 500 companies who became clients, and that translated into steady yearly sales increases for the company over the next decade.

The company now operates out of a 90,000 square foot facility in Houston, with Chuck Hendee actively running Hendee’s Architectural and Industrial Products divisions, as well as serving as the company President. Providing years of industry proven experience in design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service, Hendee offers turnkey services to a wide variety of satisfied customers.
